HANJIN built a private marine terminal at the port of Incheon in 1974 and has been operating it successfully ever since. Stevedoring services are also provided at the ports of Busan, Pohang, Gwangyang, Ulsan, Masan, Incheon, Pyeongtaek, Jeju and Boryeong, using the latest cargo handling gears and other kinds of heavy equipment including container cranes, transfer cranes and harbor cranes. HANJIN provides integrated logistics services ranging from stevedoring, which is one of many different cargoes including containers, steel products and heavy weight cargoes to transportation and warehousing.

Operating the terminals on a large scale, Hanjin provides efficient service in containerized transportation

Hanjin, which has introduced the containerized transportation system for the first time into Korea in 1969, has been operating container yards and general cargo storage yards at the major ports of Busan, Inchon, etc.
Hanjin provides storage, pick-up and delivery service for containerized cargoes and timely distribution services for the general cargoes including raw materials and steel products in conjunction with its integrated logistical capability.

GRAIN SILO OPERATION

Storage capacity of 200,000 tons computerized and automated silo

The Hanjin grain silo is capable of storing 200,000 tons of grain at once and handles two million tons a year. This enormous grain storage and its distribution facilities, equipped with an advanced automatic operation system, keeps the grain in the best condition.
